Women's Learn 2 Play Hockey
Season starts- October 16, 2023
She shoots, she scores!
Ladies, have you ever wanted to learn to play hockey? This "learn to" hockey program is designed to teach the basics of hockey to women with little or no experience.
Participants will learn basic skating skills and develop skating confidence
- stopping and starting
- skating forward and backward
- turning
- forward and backward crosscuts
- adding power to your skating
- stick handling and skating with the puck
Hockey instruction will include
- passing
- shooting
- positioning
- rules of the game
Registration
20223-2024 Season begins Monday, October 16 at Don Henderson Memorial Sportsplex, Brookfield
$180 for 20 weeks of play
