Women's Learn 2 Play Hockey

Mondays 9-10PM October to March Location: Don Henderson Memorial Sportsplex
Have you ever wanted to learn to play hockey? This "learn to" hockey program is designed to teach the basics of hockey to with little or no experience.
Participants will learn basic skating skills and develop skating confidence including :
- stopping and starting
- skating forward and backward
- turning
- forward and backward crosscuts
- adding power to your skating
- stick handling and skating with the puck
Hockey instruction will include:
- passing
- shooting
- positioning
- rules of the game

If you are a beginner/intermediate, or recently returned to the game, this recreational 4 on 4 league will offer you the opportunity to play hockey in a fun, relaxed game setting with lots of laughs.
